The Beauty of the Internet

R was the first social media site that I was ever on. What I liked about is what I like about BDB. The various interchanging of life experiences with general agreement on Conservative politics. The love of the language and honest want to debate the issues.  I loved the humor mixed with the serious reflections.

It has been great to reconnect with some old friends and to do it for free. BDB has the substance without all the clutter and pretense. Also it has some of the best footwear on the net.

Devils are tempters, as well as torturers. No industry deals temptation in wholesale lots like cruise lines. In that sense, the management of the cruise ship industry merits the “devils” accolade of the title.

A Decent Read, A View Of the Current Struggle

Jim Pinkerton is his own guy , and writes from a perspective that seems simpatico with mine, so of course I will recommend this read.

He has put a lot of pieces together in this that I have seen assembling out there in the mist.

We are in a war, the other side has us marked for gradual extinction or servitude in the long run.

I do believe they have overplayed their hand with Obama and Soros and their ilk.

We have a chance to roll it back for the next generation, to shift to individual skills and individual achievement, to have an economy that becomes a magnet for the doers of the world. America with freedom is a kick ass powerful machine.

Time Marches On

I am finally clearing out my old FB group “BallDiamondBall”.  It’s a pity, as there was a lot of good content a long time ago, but I started it as a private group, and the participation is so low now that I can;t eve contact a quorum of old members to see what they want to do about privacy.  So I’m doing the responsible thing; deleting all users, nuking the content, and THEN changing the privacy settings.  At that point, I will tie the group to this blog.

I have a script running which is either deleting everything, or individually failing to delete each article, but either way, I am watching a bunch of great content slide up the screen.  A pity.  But I don’t want to suddenly … Continue reading
