R was the first social media site that I was ever on. What I liked about is what I like about BDB. The various interchanging of life experiences with general agreement on Conservative politics. The love of the language and honest want to debate the issues. I loved the humor mixed with the serious reflections.
It has been great to reconnect with some old friends and to do it for free. BDB has the substance without all the clutter and pretense. Also it has some of the best footwear on the net.
Also we appear to be getting on well self policing.
There isn’t anyone here I would not like to meet over a drink or even a glass of water.
Even the footwear.
I hate to agree with you Brent but I must. There are a great bunch of people here. I am not even saying anything bad about Vald.
Damn, I must be losing my mojo.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to dis you by saying that you are not important, Vald. I didn’t say that you were irrelevant or lacking in mojo. It is just that you can’t compete with the likes of Whiskey Sam.
Well sure, if the competition involves tree climbing, banana eating or poop throwing, or … spelling.

I see Milo is suffering with his publisher canceling his book. Being #1 on Amazon should teach him a lesson. The extra cash will silence him, right?
Wait. what? Link?
Yeah, link?

I hope this gets you there. H/t instapundit
Thank you.
Have you a link to a story about cancelling the book?Edit: I see it is mentioned in the “reviews” and I noticed the planned release date is Independence Day. Perhaps they’ll only delay until Dec 15th when the Bill of Rights was ratified.
The story is Simon and Schuster cancelled the book and Milo is self publishing it now.

It is a fine place at this time with this group. In some ways it reminds me of a small cop bar, with like minded clientele and a silent code of conduct that while unwritten is observed meticulously.
We are all people who have been somewhere else together.
Amen
Also, we are a group of people who have simply been elsewhere which gives a bit more flavor to the stew, no?
yes, and like most stews, better the second day, or even he fourth…
If we had some good libertarians around here they would say it is not the stew but the pot that is important.
Who cleans the pot?
MLH, that is simple. The same guy/gal who cleans the reefer cleans the pot.
Pots are immoral as they infringe upon the stew’s freedom of movement.
Are you panning pots, BDB?
Save us from the morality of rabble cookwear
TKC, if you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.
