Subterranean Homesick Red Whites and Blues

I have been observing the latest complete and total misread and  pointlessly hopeless discussion of the actions of our President and my tolerance for bemused avoidance has hit it’s limit.

I even stopped by the old neighborhood for the first time in a while , using a web proxy to avoid detection and the take there is as deludedly useless as ever.

I have heard the pundits, the media , the Never Right and  running mouths like Sasse and McMullin  all describe the situation as:

Erratic, immature, inappropriate , counter productive, unbecoming, childlike, impulse control problem all centered around Trump’s conflict with the media .

Ryan has acted concerned, Lindsey Graham has tut tutted and so forth.

In the old days

It is the fourth here. Not many American flags that is for sure. In the old days my parents went to the consulate and have what they could not get in Japan Coca-Cola. Things certainly have changed. Japan has many Coke machines but ironically they sometimes don’t have Cokes in them.

In America when I was growing up there was the Fourth of July picnic. At night there was the fireworks display in the bay that I could see from my house.

What traditions do you remember?

Anyone Replace a Laptop Keyboard?

I can get a usable laptop for a cheap price. The only catch is it needs a new keyboard. It is either an Asus or an Acer. (I can’t remember which one for I get the mixed up all the time.)

From what I have read it just takes removing some screws and disconnecting a cable then putting in the new keyboard. As many of you know what should happen and what does happen can be two different things.

I have done things to desktops but I have never done anything with a laptop. Any good suggestions would be appreciated?

Why Don’t They Understand

The thing with dealing with Trump is everything but everything has already been thrown at him. It is not as if anything more could be worse. People living with glass jaws should not throw punches.

I don’t know if I agree with Trump’s approach but he does go for the “jugular”. He sets up the image of weakness in his opponents. They look foolish when they react and prove his point. They never think of just laughing it off in not a sneering way but in a big way.
