How to Run a Hot Dog Stand.

I hoping this will be a group exercise. The topic is to add to the list of things needed to run a successful hot dog stand. I know TKC and Liz have business experience. I am sure others do also.

I will start off the list with No. 1.

  • Hot Dogs
  • A group of hungry people who favor hot dogs and are willing to part with present or future earnings to acquire a hot dog and satisfy that hunger.
  • Refrigerator
  • Location
  • Signs
  • Mustard (in weaponized containers)

  • Claire B. Needs Help

Claire, I read your latest post carefully, but at the end I’m not quite sure exactly what it is you are going to do, single-handedly if necessary.
The options are limited in a political context. One could go with the current flow and trust in the American people to orient our leadership properly. One could argue vehemently against the current flow, but there’s so much healing necessary for our economy and culture that such a course might be counter productive. One could look backward and analyze what caused the current flow, but what does that produce?
Is it possible that a view of politics that assumes autocracy is always possible and that must be guarded against at all costs is not relevant in America? The examples … Continue reading

    In Trump’s America

“,,,who has left the family with “no funds to pay legitimate bills,” “maxed-out credit-card debt,” and saddled them with a “tax debt of at least $313,970.” Her filing paints such a dire situation that the couple has “bounced three checks to their housekeeper and owe medical providers and therapists for outstanding bills.”
This is the legacy of Trump. The Biden children did not do such monstrous things when Obama was presidentin’.

Pearl Harbor or the Best Defense Possible At The Time?

I am trying to decide if the Administration understood the deep state problem before they got attacked by it. It was pretty obvious for all to see in hindsight.

So, if they had advance knowledge, what strategy might they undertake ?

Fire them all? Not possible and very very bad optics.

Arrest the perps? Needed the Justice Dept fully staffed with loyalists.

It is possible they might have embarked on a very deliberate anti media campaign to blunt the delivery tool of the deep state- the NYT, CNN and so forth. If you spent December positioning the media as untrustworthy, lying jerks and the Dems as … Continue reading

Request The Members Gather- I Claim The Question

I have a question for the BDBheads, or the BDBers, or the BDB kids in the hall. (What do we call this taxonomy of folk?)

    AngryMob

I post here because I see a community in formation, with some potential to be interesting. I hope that sentiment is shared.

So we need a name. I used to belong to group that had a name and it worked for a while.

So, folks, what is the name for members of the community?

    Some suggestions

    • BDBrawlers
    • BDBumpkins
    • BDBros
    • BDBangers
    • BDBeauties
    • BDB plorables (before you are deplorable, one must be plorable, no?)
    • BDBicans

Your suggestions needed. It … Continue reading

    The President Apprentice Season Opener

I watched the address to Congress and the Opposition Media  last night and felt fairly satisfied that the guy I had been backing had grit and was capable of delivering the goods when necessary.

Either Trump has a gift for being underestimated  over and over again or the American Elites in Politics and Media are a spent force in common sense perception. It is almost  as if they have been inbred to the point of stupidity , like pet shop  puppies. Crazy and stupid but looking proper for show.  The Elites underestimating Trump is becoming like a Roadrunner /Coyote cartoon.

    The Real Deal

My dear friend: Neil “Waylon” Jennings passed away after a long bout with cancer. He passed away on Valentine’s Day and there will be a memorial for him Saturday March 4th. You can read about Waylon at: http://neiljennings.co/. He and I shared a special relationship in that he used to visit on business during the days I was far from God. He had seen enough and asked God to call out to me in an unmistakable way and show me the truth. Thankfully, his prayers were answered 9 years ago.

Waylon was a tremendous author, vivid and transparent. Early in my trading/analysis career he would proofread much of my work along with some of my early Ricochet posts. I am largely the writer I am today thanks to … Continue reading
