Trump plays the no show card, again.

Trump has decided not to show up to the White House Correspondence dinner. This I think is a wise move. They attacked him and this is his counter-attack. It reminds me of WWII and how MacArthur fought the Japanese on certain islands. He didn’t.  He cut off their supplies and let the jungle do its work. Especially with proud people this is the best strategy. They think you cannot live without them. They really do. Sad.

I’ve long been wanting to see a Republican president ditch the White House Correspondents Dinner. Glad Trump had the guts to do so.

The MSM refers to itself as the “fourth estate,” but in reality, it believes itself to be the first arm of the Democrat party. The Donald is refusing to cower and will not allow them undeserved credibility.

Not a bad move. Without him there, they will be on their worst behavior and broadcast nasty nonsense , making them look their worst.

We’ve skipped 2-3 here, you numerical maniacs (no wonder I was an English major), so may I suggest:

    2. Black Lives Matter protests
    3. OWS movement in downtown Manhattan.

I’m surprised no one referenced a baker’s dozen, but I suppose triskaidekaphobia fits just as well.

Anyway, I remember briefly watching one of these events when George Bush was president. Steven Colbert made nasty remarks about him, and he just sat there and took it.

I thought then and I think now that it is inappropriate for the Head of State of this country- powerful and important, I’m told- to be casually mocked and ridiculed by leftist hacks and lying partisans, offering no response.

It was as if Bush had been captured by a troop of baboons and every single one of them was ceremonially mounting him, to demonstrate their dominance. Bush’s willing submission to this beastiality was one of the myriad reasons why he was such a miserable failure.

Our current president has chosen otherwise.

    Advantage: Trump. In spades.

    Spades!!

That counts as a number, doesn’t it?
