I didn’t know tulips were so prolific in the great northwest.
Were you ever at Whidbey Island NAS? There is a Dutch influence in that area. Where there are the Dutch tulips will be near.
I grew up south of Seattle and we had a Daffodil Parade every year.
I never made it to Whidbey or up to Bremerton.
It was a full time job trying to kill bad guys in NK or Iraq and then attending to my throngs of adoring female fans in southern California.
Or it could just be that I was never stationed there. Take your pick.
