Weinstein Takedown is Clinton’s Final Warning

I keep seeing the question asked, “Why now for Weinstein?”  The New York Times went after him and the Great Wall of Media is crumbling.  The allegations are not new, and there are some big, popular names behind some of them.  Crusading UN globe-trotter Angelina Jolie, for instance, could have made this “a thing” on her own if she had set to do it — years ago.  So why now?

I think it’s a shot across Hillary Clinton’s bulbous bow.  While Democrats are split about Clinton, one thing they all have in common is that they were all wounded when she did not win in 2016.  The New York Times certainly love them some HRC, but these things are relative.  The Times endorsed Clinton for President in the 2008 … Continue reading

Worth a Read

John Ringo talks about Weinstein and actresses at Instapundit. I thought it was an interesting take on hating Conservatives. An abused person needs to take their frustrations out. Conservatives are a safe target.

In power struggles between two groups it is easier to come down unfairly on the weaker party. Or on the people with different views because they are “the enemy” than to face the problems on your side.

Lunch Box

Well, it was not actually lunch but dinner. I was on a motorcycle trip to Hokkaido. In my opinion the best way to go was on a ship from Maizuru to Otaru.  Here are pictures inside the ship. The ship takes 20 hours and leaves at midnight.

As anyone who has waited to drive on to a ferry knows you wait in line. Unlike a car you talk to the other riders in the motorcycle line. Next to me was an old guy on about 150 cc motorcycle. He said in his younger days he traveled around Hokkaido on a … Continue reading

Welcome, TSNyunt!

Just a quick note while I’m at work to say thanks for joining!  Look around — most folks here are on US time, but there a re a few tucked into odd corners of the world.  There’s a chat thing which you can now access — it’s really bare-bones, and you can’t even see who is on — it literally *just* does chats.

Privacy here is respected but not enforced — that is, it’s the internet — nothing is ever truly offline once it’s online.  Just the same, I put out a good faith effort to keep things tidy.  Any poor hygiene is at least not intentional :-)

Introduce yourself!  As much or as little as you choose to share.
