About a dozen U.S. sailors are expected to face punishment for a collision in June between the USS Fitzgerald and a Philippines cargo ship, including the warship’s commanding officer and other senior leaders of the ship, the Navy said on Thursday.

The headline is in factual error, but the story sounds well-researched. Only one officer will be relieved of command, of course. More than officers will be disciplined — at least one enlisted man will be shuttered in some way.
Alongside the tales of heroism and sacrifice, there remain of course the more tiresome details of administration and fault-finding.

At the White House today, President Donald Trump came out strongly against impaling puppies on swords. In a speech in the Rose Garden, the president said, “I condemn this barbaric practice in the strongest terms.”

But CNN’s Smarty McSmartypants criticized Trump for not using the phrase “those icky bullies,” saying this is clear evidence of his secret support. MSNBC’s I.B. Sillee reported that because Trump failed to use any words that start with the letter “q,” the speech was a policy failure.  Rep Maxine Waters called a press conference to object to Trump’s use of the word “barbaric,” calling it “an obvious dog whistle to Islamophobes.”

If you are following the latest meme skirmish where the Globals try to destroy Trump in the mind of the voters, the labelling him as a fascist supporter and the disbanding of the CEO councils are forcing him to move far more populist with less balance.

We are watching a very risky game where the globalists think they can rally the peons with negative images and Trump will be forced to move closer to a working class base.

I fully expect less corporate cooperation and more corporate scapegoating for the too big to fail crowd.
