I watched the address to Congress and the Opposition Media  last night and felt fairly satisfied that the guy I had been backing had grit and was capable of delivering the goods when necessary.

Either Trump has a gift for being underestimated  over and over again or the American Elites in Politics and Media are a spent force in common sense perception. It is almost  as if they have been inbred to the point of stupidity , like pet shop  puppies. Crazy and stupid but looking proper for show.  The Elites underestimating Trump is becoming like a Roadrunner /Coyote cartoon.

Trump gave the GOP congress his best shot- he looked safe to make a deal with and follow. He toned it down, played the game but did not give an inch.

The Democrats looked weak, the media was mollified.

Nice move on Kentucky- quote the current GOP gov on Obamacare failing when the Dems use the former gov in their speech response.

Trump Communication Explained

I believe we may be seeing the semblance of the Obamacare replacement marketing program.

• The President is positioning it would be easier to just let it crash and burn , that the Democrats built a pile of junk.
• He met with the Insurance CEOs to bring them into the mix, probably telling them to crank of their “Harry and Louise” advertisement departments to flood TV with what a great deal the replacement will be, many plans to choose from to meet your needs and budget.
• He is tying replacement to come before tax cuts, the reverse of the House priorities.

I could not resist this one. The poor lawn mowing robot  needs a moose recognition module.

After being pelted with disdain from Hollywood types, the poor, deplorables were sure to give it up and realize just how outclassed they were by the sheer brilliance of the Arts community.

The Oscars are just another arm of the Progressive movement, with shrill and very uninformed lectures to the serfs and plebes.

I did not watch, but caught the inevitable flash alert that the probable favorite and exercise in narcissism for Hollywood itself had won best picture.

As it turns out, these people could not organize and execute a lemonade stand. In front of the entire planet, they could not even get the best picture right.

Are we there yet?

On 2/28/17, the President will address a  session of Congress. Usually such addresses are to paint a broad picture of goals and direction, along with a call to unity.

Somehow, I have a feeling this is not going to be that.

My guess?

Trump is going to use it to focus on first year goals and enlist Congress to partner up with his people. It will be a velvet challenge with brass knuckles inside.

Twenty percent of the country has gone visibly bananas , so he could care less about them.

He will be there to sell what he is doing to his voters and maybe another twenty percent, especially blacks who work and reluctant Hillary types.
