Greta’s old place on Fox News has been temporarily covered by Brit Hume, a gentleman I admire for his honesty. No party BS there. But now we have a permanent replacement – Tucker Carlson.
I first noticed Tucker a while back when he showed up on some weekend shows. From there he went to the morning show where he was one of 3. His one characteristic, though, seemed to be a willingness to voice conservative positions and to ask tough questions. It must have made an impression somewhere because they just gave him the 7P EST slot.
I’ve watched his show a couple times this week, and so far I like it. He seems a friendly guy who asks more in-depth questions than one usually finds on TV.
I wonder if any of you have watched and formed any opinions.
Have watched; I like, pills no punches, persistent w/o badgering…Pleasant and refreshing; still newsworthy enough to pay attention to Unlike the self-promoting, self-promoting bluster of O’Reilly – or the self-serving sycophancy of Hannity.
Exactly. Persistent without badgering. Doesn’t let fools off easily.
I’m glad you posted this Devereaux. For many years, I’ve considered Carlson a bit of a lightweight, but this week I was more than impressed by his grasp of the issues and his relentless pursuit of- shall we say- the uninformed.
I hadn’t noticed him years ago, but of late I note he seems to not only understand conservative/libertarian POV but is able to articulate them AND defend them well.
I just started watching Tucker’s dismemberment of Jonathan Allen over his scurrilous and unfounded attack on Sessions. WooDeHoo!

Like!
I will definitely watch this. Thank you for the heads up!
Tucker grew up and found his voice. I am surprised the Murdoch kids let this happen. Perhaps the election spooked their run to the left.
I will catch the show at 11pm on the west coast.
My daughter worked for Tucker Carlson at the Daily Caller and had lots of respect for his politics. Tucker is fair and understands Washington D.C. inside and out.
