    Well, according to our old friends, I am somewhere between public nuisance and war criminal.
    Plus the cheap clowns have not returned my money.

    I was planning on stopping by now that I have managed to burn the bridges and salt the fields.

    I think it was my coining the phrase that just like social justice warriors on the left, we also have small government warriors on the right who are just too comfortable offering non working solutions they will never have to implement.

    That one really set them off. I leave behind an angry rabble, but it will march on to a hobby business milking Peter and Rob’s money for as long as Yeti and Gabriel can.

      You are missed!!! We disbanded, as I’m sure you know by now and started a new site via MJBubba. Some of us don’t know how long we’ll stay without you to tell you how to think (at least that’s Midge’s version of your power over us).

        The Rabble are pretty riled up over your banning, as am I. We lost another Rabble Alliance member – Phil Turmel – as well. However, I’m not sure if he too was banned or if he left on his own.

          Wow, sorry about Phil. With Gabriel playing bad cop and the mods becoming speech critics, it is getting more like a red guard denunciation camp. I expect the bleeding of members will continue. Oh well. We did try and hold it together for Mother Ricochet. And , as usual, no good deed goes unpunished.

    Thanks. BTW, Father of Four commented on an OP he is no longer going to participate in Ricochet. Was he a Rabbler (officially?). Also Franco and Annefy just posted on your Comfort post. Hmmm? they did not sound happy. And the following was posted on an EJHill OP about the boy scouts accepting anyone who identifies as male:

      I used to be a big time business consultant, but I traded that to be a country doctor who takes fees in live chickens sometimes.

      I considered Ricochet to be a noble experiment back in 2011 when I joined and kept paying in the hope the owners would get someone to run the place for growth rather than a hobby business.

      Oh well, I will do my best to share an occasional random thought. At least the dues here are reasonable.

      Meanwhile, I expect you to keep posting and not wander off to make a fortune.

    I must say, I’m glad I took the trouble to root through the internet today to rediscover balldiamondball’s site, after losing a swarm of links in a hard drive failure. I won’t presume to think anyone will care about my presence- marginal at best- but I’m glad to get an update about a site I no longer visit.

    TKC, I lament your banning. There is no one at that site who worked harder- or perhaps worked at all- to broaden the membership and keep the site alive than you.

    Your reward, in my view, was a middle finger jammed in you eye. Only my opinion of course, but you and the rest of the Rabble kept me around as a paying member much longer than I otherwise would have been.

    Good luck to you and all the other folks I see here and remember from Ricochet. It was an honor to be a part of such a group, even on the edges.

    I remember you, Xennady! I’m happy to see the rest of you here too – I got busy after leaving Ricochet right after the election, my daughter’s wedding was in December – but TCK reminded me of this site, so I’ll definitely stick around.
    The kabosh-swinging is very disappointing at Ricochet. But, the more the merrier here.

    I have to thank Dr Lorentz for the link to here! Glad to see you TKC. I did not post a lot at Ricochet but I always read what you and the Rabble Alliance posted and you kept me sane through the general election. And I am so glad to find Blue Diamond Ball again. Woo hoo!

    Hey all. Dime posted something tonight about members being discussed who could no longer defend themselves. Thinking … thinking … thinking …who I wonder was he talking about? “Utterly reprehensible” was the words he used, referring to the behavior of mods and editors.

    Anyway, I got a good snark in; have tried my best and continued to fight the good fight as best I can.
