    I watched part of the speech. It is interesting contrasting Obama and Trump. Obama is a better speaker but Trump speaks with more authority.

    If this was anyone but Trump people would view it differently. What people don’t understand is sometimes the imperfect vessel gets more done. If you want the plumbing fixed you don’t want a Harvard grad. If you want blathers of PC, don’t get a guy from Queens.

    Trump also speaks with far more authenticity. I was very impressed with his ability to discuss religious beliefs and barbarism, peace and prosperity, and his continual emphasis upon the fact that terrorism is at the root of all that is unholy.

    As an aside, I was happy to see that Melania came into to her own a bit during this visit. She has already earned the admiration of thousands of Saudi women who are posting all over the world to find duplicates of her wardrobe choices during this trip. She may be morphing into the 21st century version of Jackie in Paris!

    Just watched the whole speech, and I agree. I was never impressed with O’s speechifying and was furious at his petty deprecation of the US. I am just amazed at Trump’s fearlessness.

First up, John McCain must acknowledge that yes, his IQ is slightly less than his waist size and he and his pet eunuch, Lindsey, like to spend their weekends playing Battleship together in the bath tub.

    Another cute story on Fox last night:

    Rex Tillerson was asked why he looked so at ease doing the Saudi traditional “sword dance.” In his low-key, yet confident way, he responded, “Well, this is not the first sword ceremony I have participated in.”

    Giggle. What a grrreat answer!

    He was articulate, careful in his phrasing, praised the other countries without obsequiousness, concentrated on economic growth and eliminating terrorists, and gave a shout out to the other two Abrahamic faiths, thus showing a world-wide focus in our goals. We are lucky to have him as our spokesman.
