Roger Ailes and Rush Limbaugh changed the Conservative landscape. They brought issues out that would have never seen the light of day.
I don’t know the cause of death and wonder if it was sudden or in the works.
I feel for the young son who is only 17. It is sad to grow up without a father.
The wife wrote a note that they were going to celebrate the life.
Ninja kangaroo attack.
It was difficult to read about the accusations from some of his female employees, but he definitely changed the landscape of American politics and gave conservatives and even moderate Republicans a voice. For that I will always be grateful.
I particularly admired his wife’s reference this morning to his love of country.
It is hard to tell the truth when it comes to sexual harassment. I don’t want to minimize it and I don’t want to say casual things taken out of proportion destroying people’s lives.
I learn this a while back. Sexual harassment is subjective. One person you have done nothing wrong and another person you have propositioned them somehow by saying the same words. That is scary.
If you treat women the same a guy could get into trouble. If you treat them differently you are showing prejudice. All I guy can do is I suppose is go to HR first and tell them a woman is creating a hostile environment for you. (Only half in jest.)

After years of working in corporate America, I agree with what you’re saying Centime. Some men made inappropriate comments to me, but I either ignored them or responded with my killer icy glare. I was never bothered again. Some harassment issues aren’t so easily resolved I know, but many can be dealt with a minimum of drama.
(My brother used to tease me that I walk around with a tattoo on my forehead saying “Don’t even think about messing with me.”) :)

Giggle.
I’m sorry for his family. His legacy is FoxNews channel, which has helped a lot of people become more informed and keep their sanity during liberal craziness.
Regarding the harassment charges, I kind of agree with Sarah Palin: that women shouldn’t have to put up with harrassment, but if something happens they need to stand up and do something about it, not stick around for a paycheck and then complain about it years later.

Also, (and I am not at all attempting to blame the victim), humans are predatory creatures and it is useful for women to learn how to present themselves in such a manner that they create a low-key yet recognizable boundary.
In any case, Ailes’ accomplishments at Fox were splendid indeed. He will be missed indeed and surely hope he is not irreplaceable.
Pen, *** yours re: aspects of this…
Our focus should be on his passing from a cerebral hemorrhage caused by hemophilia, after a fall; and on his family…Not ninja kangaroos; at least not right now…
