So I called Peak Trump a few week ago, said he would be struggling for second by now. WRONG. Since then, the race has appeared almost frozen, with only three movers: Fiorina and Bush have faded, while Carson has picked up steam, edging toward 20% in the realclearpolitics.com average of polls. The Democrats have all the action right now, but when it’s media apparatchik action, it doesn’t work so well for them, as their swarm attack on Carson is just giving him an opportunity to shine. So they can have their Sanders and Clinton debacle, and the GOP field is sitting pretty. I cannot wait until one of our clowns gets to take apart theirs.

So ticked that PA’s primary will probably be irrelevant – again, Also, nearly-ready to re-register as (I) just so I can write in Jim Mattis or Jim Webb…I’m sick of the horse-race (and horse puckey) already…Wake me when I need to use my black ballpoint pen, please/thank you?
No need to “write in” Webb. Mattis would, unfortunately, be hated. He was not well liked by the admin Marines while a COL at 29Palms.

Mattis. What a guy. I imagine the pencil-tips not only hated him but feared him. He did, after all, get 4 stars I believe – at least 3.
Dev, he’s done a couple wonderful interviews with Peter Robinson on “Uncommon Knowledge”…Impressed with him as a warrior/wise man of heart and spirit; also what seems to be his deep humility…(I had originally signed on to ST’s “Mad Dog” Mattis 2016 Exploratory Committee” post back in December, I think.) :-)
I’d actually like to get in touch with him to see if he might be interested in being the Guest Speaker for our next reunion.
I wonder if formers get a discount on his fee?

What is up with the Trump thing? He’s no conservative! He speaks in three-word-long slogans, makes promises he’ll not be able to keep…He and Bernie Sanders seem like twins…I’d say Trump needs a week or so of boot camp with Mattis and Webb. Then, maybe he’ll shape up. Liking Webb/Mattis or vice versa, myself… :-) The Constitutional Patriots party, eh? :-)
