I watched a good bit of the Pensacola Rally that POTUS led.  I remember the debates during the campaign on how the rallies would have to stop if he got elected, how politics was not done that way anymore and so forth.

I am curious to hear from my compatriot BDBers on their opinion of the significance or lack thereof of the rally, why it was done and what effect it had.

There are two entities worthy of hate. Microsoft’s Win10 became corrupted and wouldn’t update its version, so after TWO days of MS level two intervention, I’ve had to wipe C:/ and start over. That leads to iTunes reloading and its concomitant misery. I will kick their respective asses, though. Pray for me.

Some musings on the unfolding civil war…

My read of Trump is he understands timing of his moves. He needs the tax cut and he needs the year end funding silliness to be done with before he can act and take a political risk.

It sure sounds like he has been building up some countermoves to Mueller and the ‘resistance’.  He also knows he has to set the stage for everyone’s Christmas season.

It seems to be coming down to this…

POTUS is betting on a roaring economy which he will tie to his policies of reduced immigration, better trade deals, America First, cutting regulation and tax cuts for people and corporations.

The Progressives are counting on voters ignoring economics and personal wealth and placing diversity and social justice as the driving factors.

It seems even the dimwitted GOP  Senate has a glimmering of which one is the winning hand.

Trump has jobs and the flag, the Progs have the Media and Mueller.

About a month ago our truck was emptied of any portable valuables, including a very nice Kahr CM40 pocket pistol. Since then, after application of a couple thousand bucks, I’ve replaced all the stolen items. Oddly, he even took a spare set of keys to our fifth wheel, so that necessitated changing all the locks. That alone was $700, because of course I have wireless entry. Then another $500 to set up a new security light dedicated to the truck, and $750 for a new wireless 8-camera security video system with 4TB of memory. I replaced the pistol with a new Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 40cal S&W pocket pistol with Crimson Trace designed into the frame. Sweet! There was a minor but noticeable earthquake along the US eastern seaboard on Thursday.  Geologists now postulate it was caused by The Swamp letting out a big bubble.
