Curmudgeon Musings After a Day of Work.

It seems we are drifting into an era of stalemate, and the globalist forces win a stalemate as it preserves the status quo.

One viewpoint to advance would be we have two political parties disintegrating, but a media, donor and elite class intact, and the public separating into three groups:

  • Passives- fear change, afraid of the future, cling to status quo (see NYC Mayor election)
  • National Populists- activists based on national driven themes
  • Social Populists- activists based on Social Justice themes
  • To defeat the elitists, I posit a leader needs to blend groups 2 and 3 into common cause over time.

    American Blindness

    I am back from vacation, reconnected with America as it was. I saw the Golden Spike National Historical Park, where the future happened and real things made real changes.  I strongly suggest the Steven Ambrose book on the building of the railroad, as it encapsulates the energy and drive of great individuals astride a historic flow of change.

    A polished railroad tie marks the spot where they celebrated to achievement, having overrun each other’s track by 250 miles, at a spot selected by a committee of experts where there was no water for the trains.

    A Truly Good Day

    Dateline:Moab, Utah.

    A nexus of family tourists (weekends), extreme rock climbers, river rats, hikers, atv freaks, 4×4 hardcore, dirt bikers, geezers seeing sights and foreign tourists in guided groups and solo.

    Desert, rivers, canyons, hot, dry  at 4600 ft.

    Today we repped the geezer brigade and auto toured Arches Nat Park.

    Perfect weather, sunny and 70.

     

    Afterwards,  we took rt 279 along the Colorado river.

    Musing On A New Client

    The elites are having their bonfire of the vanities on full display- Harvey, Paddock, Take A Knee, Pwerto Reeco and so on.

    While the bubble bubbles, another business owner asked for help, so I went to see if I could assist a glazier, bleeding cash.

    I get to live in a different world, where real folks do real things and try to build a business despite the sound and fury from the media.

    All the noise just fades away and I see people worried about their life’s work slipping away, wondering how they got where they are.

    I listen, ask a few questions, listen more and decide I just might be more good than harm in this particular case.
