Thanks very much, Dime & everyone for the prayers. My brother’s wife has been strong and lucky through a year of treatment for cancer, and today should be the final surgery. So my prayers are for her surgeon’s knowledge and skill, and for her strength and safekeeping.

I feel for you P; my husband was diagnosed this year with stage one lymphoma on the scalp. Thank goodness our Mohs surgeon caught it in time but three rounds of chemo and 20 rounds of radiation later, even my stoic, brave husband declared “The cure is almost worse than the disease.”
Anybody going through treatment deserves my utmost respect. Best of luck to your sister-in-law with both the aftermath of surgery and drug therapy.

Thank you all! My brother just called, docs said everything went perfectly! They believe they removed the last of it, and they had warned she might have to be in ICU for a while, but it went so well she did not! Thank you all so much and praise to the Lord!

Threads like this and the others of late remind me of a long lost place in a galaxy far far away circa 2012 or so.

    Nice work team.

My prayers today for the health of TKC and Liz’s husband, and anyone else here who may be suffering in silence. My gratitude for your prayers finds no adequate words; I hope you all are given the same joyous healing my family is blessed with.

Well, we’re all tough hombres (!) and I don’t rely totally on prayer; one depends upon a combination of faith, the will to push the envelope and ask the tough questions, and some damn good pro-active science.

Keep us posted P, but mostly, I’d like to express how nice it is to hear from you again even under such difficult circumstances.
