Melania has disclosed that she is a practicing Catholic.
She prayed in the chapel at Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital during their visit to Rome, after visiting with the children there. She and the President of course also met with the Pope, who blessed a rosary for her.
I am very, very happy that our First Lady is a woman of faith. I think religious liberty will be protected under this administration, and I think the Little Sisters are probably singing prayers of joyful thanks today.
She seems to have serious depths to her self that belie the “supermodel” tag.

What I’ve read in general is that even though he’s been married thrice, they are all remarkable women.
I like her too and find it ironic that Dems-the party of ‘inclusion’- doesn’t appreciate the Protestant father, the Catholic mother/stepmother, the Jewish daughter and grandchildren, and the Protestant sons.
This family sets a great example for countries troubled by religiously based strife and yet the Trumps speak little about it. I like that too.

For religious strife you need one of two situations.
1. CLOSE religious dogma – but different. So Orthodox and Catholic fought like cats and dogs. Now Benedict XVI solved all that and those two groups are OK with each other.
2. Muslims on one side. Look around the world. At sny given moment there are about 160 some wars going on (someone can fact-check the exact number for me)and well over half are muslims vs someone else.
Sunnis fight Shiites more than anyone else. Why?
