Hold On Tight

I am moving to Bluehost.  This blog and (hopefully) everything in it.  The move should be transparent, but it will probably be a disaster.

You brave souls with the trauma of Anything2.0 deserve better — well, you’ll probably get much worse.

I am so furious at Yahoo hosting and email and all the rest of it that I will simply rip the band-aid off.

    Glad you haven’t given up!

As of 0547 PDT/AzT, the wordpress logo is still there. . .

Thank you, and good luck to us all.

    Bluehost? Uh oh.

Have you committed to this move yet? Because my experience at work was so bad with Bluehost, we moved to another vendor. We had email trouble with them for years… Bluehost is a favorite with spammers, apparently… and we tried to mitigate that by moving to one of their VPS accounts, and something was terribly hosed on their end, probably in a back-end configuration (we couldn’t even get email to sync AND we started having certificate problems) and they kept insisting that everything was fine, and if things weren’t working, it HAD to be something we were doing. Repeated requests to fix our problems resulted in support sending us generic articles on how set POP3 settings, etc. When I moved our accounts to another hosting vendor, surprise surprise, all the problems went away and everything worked as it should have.

    Seriously, consider another host.

I would make an intelligent comment but I don’t have one to make. So good luck with whatever you do. Let’s home we’re all still “alive” when it’s all over.

Maybe just update to a current WP template?

?So what’s happened, if anything. I see no differences, but then I’m kind of electronically blind.
