These things get written and cast long before they are released.

Everybody, but everybody, thought we’d all be swimming in Hillgesterone this year.
Well, it is an unlucky number. . . I haven’t gotten through the David Tennant episodes.
I’m guessing they also massively increased the budget to make sure it wouldn’t fail.
Good! Hoping libs spend themselves into oblivion!
“Hillgesterone”
Brilliant! I had to look this up to get the joke.
Wait! ?Aren’t you “assuming” it’s desired pronoun is “she”.
True, the Doc may identify with some other pronoun. Actually, a fictitious alien character in literature is one instance when normal people would probably accept a weird pronoun to represent them. And yet it’s the one time when libs will most unequivocally say the character is female.
Well, I wasn’t watching Dr. Who anyhow but now I can not watch it with more enthusiasm.
*** lol
Neither do I, but bunches of nerds I see on Twitter were all bemoaning this.
I watched in the Stone Age, when it was Peter Davison, but haven’t since…
