I watched a small event today. Secretary of Homeland Security Kelly said that he would build the wall in about two years. Yesterday he said , when asked if Trump had ever clued him in to the visa ban on the seven countries , his response was “About a year ago, when he asked if I would take the job’.
Secretary Kelly is an impressive man and what is interesting is the complete lack of media reaction the his statements.
I am watching the unfolding of phase two of the media war.
The Defensive Line. Mattis, Kelly , Tillerson, Sessions. Especially Mattis and Kelly will confound the media, who will tread very carefully with trying to destroy them and their credibility.
We have seen Trump and the Media one on one. By next week , it will be Trump and one heckuva front line against the media.
I pity the fools.
That apparently punches a little hole in the argument that Trump never intended to win. Although it’s possible Trump did not intend to win in mid-2015 but realized he could in early 2016.
Ha! Terrific. If he had people like this lined up and willing to work with him a year ago, it is no wonder that when the hellacious Access Hollywood attack broke against him and the RNC wanted him to quit, he told Priebus ‘I will NEVER give up.’ How could you possibly pass over a team like this?

You gotta love the successful entrepreneurs; they know how to hire the right people and just get it done.
I’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable time since 1/20 watching the Chief take charge.
As an aside, he almost brought me to tears re: Yemen trip particularly as he agreed to the family’s wishes to keep the details out of the press.
One thing I never worried about was whether he loved his country.
