No Time

Things I do not have time to write about:

Barack Obama is a domestic enemy of the Constitution

[pullquote]We we do not oppose our enemies and we do not support our allies[/pullquote]He is dismantling our defenses, economy, civil society, and rule of law. Contracts are changed by fiat, private companies are ordered to shift assets to do what Congress refuses to authorize, laws great and small are not upheld or defended. Immigration checks of transport hubs are shut down from coast to coast, we just surrendered in Iraq and will shortly in Afghanistan, we put al-Qaeda in power in Libya and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. We we do not oppose our enemies and we do not support our allies, who must now make accommodations with our enemies and theirs.
There’s a line from an old Eagles song, “I could be wrong, but I’m not. No, I’m not.”
[pullquote]His victories are our undoing, and his shame abroad is intentional[/pullquote]This usurper (whom we have stupidly elected) is a professor of unconstitutional law, and he is disabling our defenses from the inside. There is a reason he has now gutted even the unmanned planetary exploration mission from NASA, and there is a reason he bows to dictators and kings abroad. His victories are our undoing, and his shame abroad is intentional. He sees himself as the messiah as foretold by Karl Marx and Jeremiah Wright, and he wears America as a hairshirt for his crucifixion. God Damn America, for their chickens have come home to roost.

Republicans are probably behind the Cain smear

[pullquote]Cain took from Perry what Romney believes is his[/pullquote]I can’t claim this as original, but it’s assembled from online and radio crunchy conservative sources. Those who stand to gain are (in no particular order) Perry and Romney. Democrats are not likely to bring out their giant-killers this early, although the lefty media (the ahem, 99%) will gleefully retransmit any GOP dirt they get from another Republican. This reeks of dirty tricks for the GOP primary, and not just because that’s a common vantage point among the commentariat these days. Cain took from Perry what Romney believes is his, and they both want it back, bad.
I want Republican candidates to swear that they are not connected with this particular smear.

Michelle Obama has removed herself from a state of grace

[pullquote]”They want old people to die”. Excuse me? Anyway, the gloves come off[/pullquote]I have been the very picture of restraint in not criticizing the first lady, and precisely for that reason: she’s not elected, we never asked for her opinion, and she should not be in that category. But then she’s out there (and not for the first time) exhorting crowds to cough up funds by demonizing Republican position in a stunningly base and shallow manner. “They want old people to die”. Excuse me? Anyway, the gloves come off. Michelle Obama has insisted upon playing in the arena, and so there it is.

There’s more, but I don’t have the time or the energy to go on even in this abbreviated form. I believe I’ll be nearly offline until the weekend.
