It’s a fight to the death

Trump only has the voters on his side. Will that be enough?

I have long considered the media to be the main opponent in the country — they are why we can’t have nice things. At the bottom of every thorny and controversial problem there is the media at their most implacable.

Abortion is an example — because they know about the slippery slope thing and they are trained in Alinsky/Socialist thinking (unwittingly but definitely) they know to never give in and never admit defeat. So, even reasonable restrictions on abortion — such as those in Europe and most of the civilized world — are not something they can compromise on. They might even think some restrictions are necessary but don’t dare let that be known even for late term abortions. They can’t allow the principles of moderation and comity to be allowed because that would show lack of resolve and they might be pushed steadily backwards once any reasonable law or restriction is imposed.

Think of Stalin’s advice to the Commies in America in the 1940s and 1950s: he told them to plead the fifth because this was advised by our leftist anti-American Commie lawyers. It helped staunch the wounds and they just kept their eyes on the ball and have come out as a major force to be reckoned with — several generations later with steady progress and damage to the country along the way.

Trump looks to have the grit but will he be able to sustain this and win out at the end? (two full terms) He needs more people on his side and he needs to leave a legacy of committed people who will stand the test of time.

Will Trump’s noble positions on all the important issues of the day be sustained after he’s gone? We all can learn a lot from him — especially about handling the media. People have to be trained to ignore the unprofessional reporters and media outlets. Politicians need to address the media as members of the Democratic Party — which is objectively true whether they are admitted Democrats or underground members who aid all they can in unseen ways. This has to be the assertion with every exchange with these representatives of the leftist part of the country and the easiest way to do this is to call them Democrats every day.

About Larry Koler

I'm a controls engineer working primarily in the aerospace industry. I'm married with 4 children and 11 grandchildren. I'm a pro-Trump, social and fiscal conservative. I consider most libertarians to be more like commies than conservatives -- this early suspicion of mine has been confirmed with the NeverTrump phenomenon, which has proven to be a way of outing the foot draggers in our midst.

The media are certainly among the opponents but the most dangerous opponents may be the bien pensant Republicans who attack Trump from behind (McCain, etc.). It’s bad enough when your enemy is facing you; it’s altogether different when the enemy is engaging in sabotage behind your lines.

The pundits, RINOs in Congress, and other assorted inhabitants of the Acela Corridor constitute a fifth column. They should be treated as such.

I think the actual number of votes that the NTs represent is small and so we can write them off — but the damage they can do is real and vicious.

  2. 10 Cents10 Cents says:

Is this the real Larry Koler?

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Yes. I signed up a while ago but haven’t stayed active. I’m about to get kicked out of Ricochet so I wrote to TKC and then decided to look in here.
I’m glad you are here, Dime. I wondered what happened to you.
      Thanks for this site, BDB.

      • 10 Cents10 Cents says:

Larry, is it all that swearing you do that is getting you to be persona non grata at the caf*?
        ;-)

*It is a place for the price of a Starbucks’ cup of coffee ….

        • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Not swearing – just having trouble with moderators who won’t read things carefully and are being whipsawed by trolls using their stupid flag system.

      • Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

I’m out of there for a month for sassing you know who, and for generally calling out the moderators for their malfeasance. If I irritate the wrong person again, I’ve been told that I’ll be banned. WooDeeHoo, a badge of honor, I think. I may never go back, even if they allow me to. It is becoming so hard to listen to the amoral blowhards’ preening and faux sophistication.

I’m glad to be here. Thanks, BDB.

You bad boys Trinity and Larry, I was hoping you had found this place.
I haven’t visited much because I used a phrase converted to numbers and symbols as a password (like they teach us to do) and then forgot which letters converted into which number/symbol. Once I remembered it, it all made sense, but until about ten minutes ago, I hadn’t a clue.
However, I do remember one thing, I owe Dime:

          *****

        • BrentB67BrentB67 says:

Who did you sass? Put the who in it!

          • MLHMLH says:

one guess and any guess other than the Lockett may not count.

            • Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

You win, MLH! But I took the moderators on also, for trying to direct the conversation with their secret redactions.

              • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Yes, I don’t record what I write (often in haste) and when they redact and then make snide comments it is really a pathetic exercise to then have to deal with the higher ups who know even less about the incident and then can be easily used to bring out the big hammer. Ricochet is more and more against Trump and when lies like Charlottesville happen they feel even more justified in dumping on Trump supporters.

  3. 10 Cents10 Cents says:

It is such a tough fight to have the media against you.

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

I think they will go too far and they will come crashing down. I’m convinced that if people call them leftist Democrats and that this is kept up then we can make them back down. They are not representative of the country and we must take them out of their positions of power — in some way. We have to start with the recognition of their role in all the major problems in the country and that they our domestic enemies of America.

  4. PencilvaniaPencilvania says:

Hi Larry, good to hear from you, I agree with your post. Regarding media, I’ll mention that just yesterday my local rinky-dink newspaper tweeted a headline: ‘Anti-Trump sentiment still strong among Bucks County activists.’ Sure it’s true for ACTIVISTS, but if yu remove that final word their whole stupid premise falls apart. So very dishonest.

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Yes, it’s not surprising, is it?
These people are domestic enemies — enemies of the Constitution, the American people and common sense.

  5. TKC1101TKC1101 says:

The media are scared to death of their own descent in the irrelevant. Their reaction is not rational, but emotional.

When your opponents are driven by emotion, use that to defeat them.

Welcome, Larry. Good to see you again.

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Yes, it’s good to talk to you again, TKC. I learned a lot from you at R> and I’m glad to see you that are still active at this site.
You know, I think that the media are really low hanging fruit — simply because they are so easily proved wrong on so many subjects. The reason I recommend insisting that they are left-wing Democrats is because this FACT needs to be drummed into them and it can force them to lie even more.

  6. BrentB67BrentB67 says:

Larry, good to see you here.

I think the test of Trump’s support will be who/how many Congress critters get primary challengers this cycle.

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Wow, everybody’s here. Good to see you, too.
Yes, the 2018 election will tell us if the people see a way through this and that Trump’s blazed trail is one that the country simply must follow.

    • Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

So right, Brent. The primaries will be a slugfest, and I predict that the RINO NT crowd will lose.

      • BrentB67BrentB67 says:

I hope you are right TW, but I’ve predicted similarly before and other than a few Texas districts always been disappointed.

        • Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

My optimism, maybe misplaced, is due to the unmasking of the media by Trump, causing their power and credibility to tank, and by the conduct of the GOP Congress. Whose skirts can they hide behind when they own the town? I don’t want to get too used to disappointment, Brent, but it may happen anyway. In the meantime, we fight.

  7. Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

Trump’s greatest achievement so far is his defenestration of the Dems-with-a-byline crowd. Along with the exposure of the traitorous GOP Congress, these two facts make me happy. So much winning!

  8. TKC1101TKC1101 says:

I agree with Brent- if there are four or more Credible primary challengers for the GOPe and add a few Trump friendly candidates who will take out Democrats like Kid Rock, it will break the back of the GOPe.

Otherwise, it will be a long stalemated struggle.

I also expect some outreach by Trump to the Dems if he is blocked by the GOPe.

The movement of Bannon and Gorka outside the WH to Brietbart is a move to attack the GOPe where they fear it, the media.

Trump is giving the Generals the opportunity to deliver on foreign policy and areas like Afganistan and North Korea. If they fail, he fires them and moves on. McMaster is now really exposed on Afganistan.

  9. BrentB67BrentB67 says:

I think Trump’s greatest achievement is calling out the pompous donation whores in Congress that ran on repealing Obamacare.

  10. Trinity WatersTrinity Waters says:

Gorka and Bannon, unleashed! Can’t hardly wait. The lamentations will be hysterical.

  11. 10 Cents10 Cents says:

Larry, isn’t your profile blurb a little harsh?

    • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

I just recently added the stuff against libertarians because of what they are doing in the country. George Will is now a libertarian which tells me almost everything I need to know about them.
Libertarians are like Commies in this way too: they don’t have a church, they don’t have children, they despise government (and take no ownership in it), they are generally misanthropes and they have a lot of time on their hands for mischief.
So, I guess my answer is: not too harsh — no.

      • 10 Cents10 Cents says:

Comrade, we don’t like the comparison. ;-)

Thanks for going into more detail. Do Commies “despise government”? I thought they were Big Gov types.

        • Larry KolerLarry Koler says:

Good point — that did occur to me but remember they always foment rebellion in countries that they want to get control of. During the rebellion they are clearly anti-government but we all know that it’s just really that they are against any faction that is fighting against them because they don’t want to be destroyed and killed or sent to a gulag.
We are in the rebellion and agent provocateur phase right now.
