In the spirit of Congress, an omnibus post:
Re-activation of “Tea Party = Nazi” Meme
The media is scared again. Have you noticed an uptick in references to Nazis when media people discuss the Tea Party in the last week? I have.
You can tell what their current marching orders are by the little “core dumps” scattered in their meltdowns. Most of them are useless flacks, you see, and many when pressed on issues will resort to dumping not only what they were instructed to say, but will reveal what their instructions actually are.
Now this sort of thing does not require actual rooms with leaders issuing directives on what to say, or online gatherings where the meme of the week is selected before being promoted as if fact, although we have seen both of these. Senator Chuck Schumer, prepping other democrats in the warm-up for a conference call: “I always use the word ‘extreme’; that’s what the caucus instructed me to do the other week.” Jounrolist applies, too.
Palin e-mails vs. What the MSM Won’t Show
About twenty-five thousand e-mail from Governor Palin’s term are being pored over by the major media outlets of the day. She is currently just a citizen who neither holds nor is running for any office. Meanwhile, the media is withholding plenty of information from other sources because it would make certain democrats look bad. One example of this is CBS refusing to release the full “hot mic” tape of Obama getting himself in trouble. What I notice as I visit forums is that the leftist commenters try to paint Breitbart as some sort of hypocrite. No, not at all–Breitbart is a conservative operative with a media organization devoted to exposing the fact that the MSM is a democrat collective devoted to covering for democrats. Even if every unfounded charge against Breitbart were true, he would still win the tis so, taint so fight, as he does not claim to be objective.
Really, MSM shills and lackeys, is that the best you can do? Point out that Breitbart is not objective? That is no defense.
Finally, look at how the MSM and its enablers are reduced to complaining that Breitbart did not follow the clean-room procedures he supposedly set up regarding the most revealing, er, Weiner shot. So what?
This is exactly the trap that Breitbart spring fro them, and we need to capitalize better on opportunities like this. The problem is not that Breitbart let a photo slip. The problem is that Weiner is a bastard and the MSM has covered for him as much as they can at any given time. Criticize Breitbart? That’s all they have?
