Please describe some things you’d like to see from the Trump Administration. These need not be realistic, or predicated upon current expectations or past promises. This is your wish list.
I will add frequent or otherwise noteworthy items to this post.
WSJ.com suggests that he will keep the “no such thing as a pre-existing condition” and “26 year olds are children”provisions of the ACA.
If parents want and can pay for their adult children, fine.
I think keeping the former provision for a couple of years, while the medical insurance MARKET corrects is okay. It should not mean that they can’t charge sick people more though the argument is insurance (and, therefore care –or vice versa– is too expensive).
The problem of “pre-existing conditions” can often be related to an employee developing some condition he can no longer work with – and be fired. And lose his insurance he has paid into for years. There needs to be a differentiation or some other system to allow these people to continue being covered. If you NEVER got insurance, you’re a different dog.
Was there ever?
Rein in FEMA a bit. For example: Is Flint’s water problem a national problem (maybe not a good or even correct example)?
Stop new illegal immigration with extreme measures,
Get the wall under visible construction and report on progress to Congress weekly
Get the insurance companies to have one month to produced affordable reasonable coverage policies that a working class family can pay for. Have them explain what will be covered. Congress will have to explain any added costs they cause after that.
Fire in a bloodbath the heads of the IRS, the EPA and the VA. Jail time for exceeding their authority.
All executive orders cancelled
All federal employees hired after 1/20/2009 are fired and must reapply.
Tell Ryan to get a tax cut for companies that source production jobs in the US borders going quickly, cut to be decreased for all jobs sent overseas.
Something has been going on at the Department of Justice through all of the Obama years and it has affected the performance of the FBI. I would like to see a real harda$$ AG go in and expose what has been going on and fix it. This would include a look at why the states that were restricted on any changes to voting laws are still being penalized and kept from instituting procedures to avoid voter fraud while other states are encouraged to make procedures so lenient as to allow illegal immigrants to register to vote without demonstrating citizenship.
Compile a list of the agencies that are irrelevant and unconstitutional and formulate a plan to eliminate them. The Dept. of Energy was created by Carter; kill it, for example. My fingers would cramp listing all the cabinet-level and subsidiary agencies that could evaporate without affect on our country. Tell me what the Dept. of Education does for students?

Reflect and think of how awesome it is to be in this position of describing a wish list for the POTUS. This is a miracle and do not let this sweet moment pass without the appropriate Thanksgiving to our God who is all merciful and all powerful.

It is a miracle to me. I thought I would not see again an administration that might do some things I would actually approve, but now I’m optimistic. But real achievement here will require focus and rapid fire.
WordPress has a “like” button feature for posts and comments, but you have to enable it on your back-end. I did so, and it keeps my iPod buzzing when I do a popular post.
I want Trump to figure out how to rescind the law/exec order enabling public-employee unions. Then, he should have his SecState do a purge of hostile, liberal-minded employees who will just frustrate anything he wants to do. At a minimum, all political appointees fired immediately.

I’d love to see him keep going to black neighborhoods and promise he will fight to get school choice.
