Yogi Berra Was Right- It’s Tough To Make Predictions, Especially About The Future

On 2/28/17, the President will address a  session of Congress. Usually such addresses are to paint a broad picture of goals and direction, along with a call to unity. Somehow, I have a feeling this is not going to be that. My guess? Trump is going to use it to focus on first year goals and enlist Congress to partner up with his people. It will be a velvet challenge with brass knuckles inside. Twenty percent of the country has gone visibly bananas , so he could care less about them. He will be there to sell what he is doing to his voters and maybe another twenty percent, especially blacks who work and reluctant Hillary types. While the Media and the Never Rights wait for Trump to… Continue reading

Grinning From Ear to Ear

I just sat back and smiled. America is back and we have a new class of hero, very like the old style.  Watch the video in the article below. Plain speaking, honest talk with firm resolve right there, with the authority to deliver. Something the Never Right and the Globalists who pay them can never grasp. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/02/22/dhs-secretary-john-kelly-drops-atomic-truth-bomb-in-guatemala-press-conference/ Boss Mongo said Kelly was a righteous dude and it looks to be true.

More Black Robed Tyrants

Note to Dime, capitalization is a wonderful thing. A good friend of mine, Tom Selgas, was on the team that argued Heller vs. DC, the landmark 2A case. He sent me the  link to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit regarding the Maryland ‘Assault Weapon’ ban. The decision hinges on an interesting point, specifically: We conclude — contrary to the now- vacated decision of our prior panel — that the banned assault weapons and large-capacity magazines are not protected by the Second Amendment. That is, we are convinced that the banned assault weapons and large-capacity magazines are among those arms that are “like” “M-16 rifles” — “weapons that are most useful in military service” — which the Heller Court singled out as being beyond… Continue reading

Where To Retire

You can retire to Phoenix, Arizona where … 1.  You are willing to park three blocks away from your house because you found shade. 2.  You’ve experienced condensation on your rear-end from the hot water in the toilet bowl. 3.  You can drive for four hours in one direction and never leave town. 4.  You have over 100 recipes for Mexican food. 5.  You know that “dry heat” is comparable to what hits you in the face when you open your oven door at 500 degrees. 6.  The four seasons are: tolerable, hot, really hot, and ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? OR You can retire to California where … 1.  You make over $450,000 and you still can’t afford to buy a house. 2.  The fastest part of your… Continue reading

Great Interface!!

BDB and MLH have put together something good here. The interface is clean, logical, and more than good enough. I love simple. Just not having all the pesky clutter of seeing things I don’t want to see is worth every penny I am paying to be here. I do appreciate the level of discourse too. (Okay, that Dime guy’s stuff is not that good but one has to put up with a certain level of mediocrity.) Kudos to anyone else I missed.
