{"id":6178,"date":"2011-11-07T22:19:36","date_gmt":"2011-11-07T13:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/haakondahl.com\/blog\/?p=2297"},"modified":"2011-11-07T22:19:36","modified_gmt":"2011-11-07T13:19:36","slug":"decimate-the-federal-workforce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balldiamondball.com\/blog\/decimate-the-federal-workforce\/","title":{"rendered":"Decimate the Federal Workforce!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal government&#8217;s role is not to provide jobs, but to perform only those duties enumerated in the Constitution. \u00a0It is obscene for a organization with an IRS, a bevy of regulatory powers, and a military, to put itself in competition with the private sector which it is supposed to protect.<\/p>\n<p>Thought experiment: \u00a0If every ten civilian Federal workers were required to vote one of their number off the gravy train and divide his former duties among the remaining nine, wouldn&#8217;t they select the most useless?<\/p>\n<p>The word &#8220;decimate&#8221;
