{"id":6170,"date":"2011-10-22T23:07:42","date_gmt":"2011-10-22T14:07:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/haakondahl.com\/blog\/?p=2238"},"modified":"2011-10-22T23:07:42","modified_gmt":"2011-10-22T14:07:42","slug":"progressive-republican-trolls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balldiamondball.com\/blog\/progressive-republican-trolls\/","title":{"rendered":"Progressive Republican Trolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I caught some flak from a nice enough but seriously stupid person for my<a title=\"Republicans Risk Third Party\" href=\"http:\/\/NOLINKYET\/2011\/10\/20\/republicans-risk-third-party\/\"> latest post<\/a> about the GOP&#8217;s malfeasance toward the Tea Party.<\/p>\n<p>I already blocked her (this was all on Facebook) so no direct quotes, but she called me a Progressive troll and hoped I would trot out some more modern cliches next time. \u00a0She contended that the term &#8220;RINO&#8221; is a lefty plant and seemed to think that criticism of the GOP from the right was not possible. \u00a0In her universe, the GOP is the sum total of conservatism.<\/p>\n<p>How many more of these empty-headed Rockefeller Republicans are clogging up our party?
