Here’s a tease from my upcoming post:<\/p>\n

There is no way to close an account at LGF without enduring the tunnel of shame. \u00a0It is not possible to announce that one is leaving or has issues with the proprietor in public\u00a0or in private<\/em> without becoming an object of ridicule for the monkeys in the stands. \u00a0Announcing your departure will get you deleted and banned, but not before a public savaging. Not the way most of us would prefer to close an account. Polite private e-mails to Johnson will get you the exact same treatment. \u00a0 So will being seen commenting on blogs which criticize LGF. \u00a0Bad monkey! \u00a0So will running your own blog with those critical blogs mentioned in your “blogroll”, which is like your online Rolodex. \u00a0That’s right, people get banned from LGF for appearing in or even mentioning unapproved places online.<\/p>\n

If there were a “close my account” button on the site, LGF would have a much better reputation than \u00a0it does now. \u00a0It would also have fewer members. Only the Code Pink activists would remain, as the hostages would be free to go.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is a work in progress. I had considered writing a piece several months ago, which would have had a much different tone. Stay Tuned…<\/p>\n
