the fact that he won in 2012 meant that Americans had seen Marxism up close and personal and still voted for more of it.<\/li>\n<li>Second, I just cannot shake this feeling that this year is warming up economic, international, and political debacles in a foul combination not seen in decades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know what, I don&#8217;t know where, and in general, I am out of the prediction business.\u00a0 So allow me to scamper into the roadside weeds of &#8220;Gee, it looks bad,&#8221; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Home Depot in particular serves as a poor man&#8217;s leading indicator of family buying power by attacking the jobber end of consumer-level long-lead projects, i.e., the guys who *work* building and refurbing houses have their own sense of where things are going.\u00a0 When Home Depot lays off, it means that contractions are coming in construction.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that popularly-cited inflation figures do not include food and energy.\u00a0 Nonetheless, the Biden administration is now advertising that grocery prices &#8220;plummeted&#8221;
