The basis of ‘woke’ is that nobody has standing except the government.\u00a0 There’s a reason that the government seem to have arrogated royal prerogatives, for indeed it has.\u00a0 The footsoldiers of this Marxist destruction of western civilization would not appreciate being called the loyal subjects of some monarch, but this is exactly what they are.\u00a0 They are subjects not citizens, and insist that none of us have the rights of citizens.\u00a0 Call it Leviathan, the divine right of kings, the dictatorship of the proletariat, the anarcho-whatever libertarian urge, and it’s all the same, yes even the an-caps.\u00a0 All of these movements or desires, or worldviews, whenever the eschaton gets immanentized, have a couple of features in common, chief among them that no person may be represented in or by government.\u00a0 Not as a citizen.<\/p>\n
Take the obvious, manifest anti-white, anti-male, anti-western prejudice built into every woke thing.\u00a0 Throughout the western republics, the default of the western white man is reviled not only for a litany of crimes real or imagined stretching back through galactic time, but also reviled for simply being the default.\u00a0 We (western white man speaking here) are the only legal target of every form of discrimination, codified in laws to varying degrees throughout western civilization through the fairly recent re-definition of racism from a trait present in people to a trait present only in the typical or default member of a society.\u00a0 A country overwhelmingly white had only white Presidents until recently?\u00a0 Must be racism, not just historically and not only as a consequence of numbers in later years.\u00a0 Instead, it’s a complex “power relationship”, “dominant culture”, and a “structural inequity.”\u00a0 They were all men?\u00a0 Pure sexism, right up until today.<\/p>\n
Even on Twitter\/X, it is once again against the rules to use the word “tranny” to refer to trannies.\u00a0 In Great Britain, it is now actually illegal.\u00a0 It is illegal in Great Britain to “misgender” a tranny, clearly a made-up crime related to a made-up identitiy, itself the result of a mental illness, but Britons can no longer say this in public, to children, in electronic communications, in entertainment, and presumably in a psychotherapist’s office.\u00a0 Jordan Peterson famously defended himself from a government compulsion to use made-up or incorrect pronouns in speaking plain English up there in famously Soviet Canada.\u00a0 And on it goes — all of the Anglosphere is collapsing in the face of this nonsense for the want of more men and women willing to defend it as such.<\/p>\n
Citizens have standing per se in a republic, and they do not in a “democracy”, nor in a monarchy, nor in a totalitarian dictatorship nor a libertarian utopia (albeit the last for a different reason).\u00a0 The more pure the democracy, the more a citizen is merely a vote.\u00a0 Citizens of actual non-hybrid monarchies are subjects.\u00a0 Obviously the wretched prisoners of totalitarian regimes have no standing with “their” governments.\u00a0 Finally, the imaginary pure libertarian farmer\/gunner\/writer\/what-have-you has no government to appeal to, no recourse to any law when his neighbor decides to freely infringe upon his rights.\u00a0 Only in a Republic, as erected by a Constitution such as ours, is the citizen empowered both as an individual and with recourse.<\/p>\n
It is this standing which is the actual target of the woke movements.\u00a0 Marxism is not an economic theory, but a method of eroding a society and its institutions through agitation, propaganda, and violence.\u00a0 It merely wears a crackpot economic theory as camouflage.\u00a0 This is how it markets itself to anybody who might feel that they have somethingg to gain by tearing down their own society — by telling them that they are poor, that it is society’s fault, and that those who have more are by definition evil.\u00a0 This is why all wealth must be explained as exploitation, all religion ridiculous, all joy bourgeois, all actual science anti-human, and any utter nonsense is called The True Science so long as it cries out for more government.<\/p>\n
Marxist wokism attacks this standing of the citizen by defining the status quo as bad, and other things as good.\u00a0 What the footsoldiers of Marxism sometimes fail to recognize is that they will not become the new holders of power.\u00a0 If they become the new default, they will be reviled as well, and if they feel that they are too diverse, or underprivileged, or oppressed, or intersectional to be treated as a default, they err.\u00a0 If they paid attention, they would notice that the past decade has been notable for how previously favored groups become disfavored, and are thrown over for newly-favored groups.\u00a0 This permanent revolution ensures that the Two-Minutes Hate will never want for a subject.\u00a0 Yesterday’s useful idiots are today’s kulaks to be liquidated.<\/p>\n
A Twitter user summarized a new development from Scotland: “Under the new hate crime law, people who make fun of or misgender trans people, make racial jokes or criticisms of certain religions, or criticize migrants can be prosecuted.”\u00a0 My read of an referenced newspaper article confirmed most of those points.\u00a0 Of course Scotland is not the only place where illegal invaders are declared literally above reproach for their crime by actual citizens who fear for the future of our countries.\u00a0 Intersectionality of course means than even when those illegals are brought into the fold, only some of them will lose their protected status, with white Christian males the first to be dropped from the rolls of honorable immigrants.\u00a0 Oh wait, is any western country accepting white Christian male immigrants?
