I am about sick of Apple. \u00a0Again. \u00a0Specifically the Cult of Chakra Khan over there on the Board of Directors, lecturing the masses, whitewashing his soiled massage towel of a reputation.<\/p>\n

It’s been hard enough to survive the onslaught of junk bands which have enjoyed phenomenal support from placement in Apple products. \u00a0I enjoyed U2 a long time ago, Black-Eyed Peas exactly once, and Gorillaz never. \u00a0Why must that crap keep fouling my recommendations?<\/p>\n

Really, Apple? \u00a0Must I be bombarded with this flaming lefty nonsense? \u00a0Microsoft stays out of it, and even the typically lefty Open Source community keeps it below the radar unless you’re on a forum. \u00a0But Apple has Al Gore on the board, and now sells an app which costs FIVE DOLLARS so you can fondle a companion to his God-awful book.<\/p>\n

Here are some questions and a predictable answer from USA Today<\/a>‘s\u00a0tongue bath:<\/p>\n

Did you envision doing an app when you were writing the printed version of the book?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Given the nature of the subject, how helpful it is to have all these visual tools to explain stuff?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/strong>How do you measure success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As an Apple board member, did you reach out to anybody at Apple as you were doing this?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gore: I did not pull any strings, let me put it that way. First contacts were through the normal channels that I had nothing to do with. This didn’t come top-down through Apple at all.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Just for this, I’m going to revive an ancient blog post which never saw the light of day. \u00a0This creepy moralizing sexual predator should hang his head in shame and thank his lucky stars that he’s not in jail. \u00a0He doesn’t get to lecture an educated and informed populace. \u00a0Not any more. \u00a0And that’s the whole point of the blog post to follow, which was begun about five years ago. \u00a0I’ll try to have it out in about a week.<\/p>\n
