Do you recall seeing Obama on magazine covers in 2003, 2004? \u00a0Even at the time<\/em> I thought it was odd to see the same guy from out of nowhere on both Time and Newsweek side by side. \u00a0\u201cWho is this nobody,\u201d I wondered, \u201cand why is he the Next Big Thing?\u201d<\/p>\n Duh. \u00a0For all my banging on about Alinsky, and my appreciation of the race weapon, I missed it. \u00a0Or at least I hadn\u2019t put all the pieces together at the same time. \u00a0The Obama Presidency is exactly Alinsky\u2019s Rochester plan.<\/p>\n Not just that it works out that way. \u00a0Obviously it\u2019s working out that way. \u00a0But it just kind of popped into view how obvious the set-up is. \u00a0I realize that there are great swaths of people who will never agree, but I\u2019m not interested in convincign them. \u00a0i want to know who thinks the same thing. \u00a0That Barack Obama was elevated through the ranks of the DNC specifically to be used as Alinsky\u2019s baked beans wepon. \u00a0The progressive school has a free hand to be as totalitarian as they wanna be, because the cowardly GOP will not criticize the first black president.<\/p>\n I get that it is happening, and I have long felt that there was a loose set of fellow travellers who knew enough of the tune to jam, unrehearsed. \u00a0But suddenly I think it actually has been a program, and a wildly successful one.<\/p>\n I\u2019m still in the first hour. \u00a0Rush is edging right up to saying that the GOP Establishment actually prefers losing because they find it profitable. \u00a0He was here in the middle of Obama\u2019s first term, which is why I was so mad at Rush for getting right with the GOPE in the primaries last time around. \u00a0Kinda made him look establishment, but I also understand what he meant when he said (on endorsing a crunchy-con candidate), \u201cNot my yob, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Rush is just on fire. \u00a0Fricking FIRE.<\/p>\n — Posted this over at Ricochet as well. \u00a0Good startup with RMcR<\/p>\n Who here has Rush memberships?
