I wonder what the Democrats are saying about Donald Trump\u00a0 Hmm.\u00a0 Let’s ask Mona Charen.\u00a0 I Googled [Mona Charen Trump].\u00a0 Here are the first ten<\/del> seven results, with selected money quotes:<\/p>\n

\nNot quite.\u00a0 He spoke of people “on both sides”, he condemned some on both, and he admitted the existence of better people on both sides.\u00a0 Meanwhile, Charen depicts an entire “side” in Charlottesville as Nazis, while white-washing (if you’ll pardon the expression!) the cultural Marxists generating mayhem in our country as “black athletes who protest police brutality”.\u00a0 You can’t have it both ways, unless you’re Mona Charen, the Republican who waddles like a duck and brays like a mule.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump & Russia — ‘Witch Hunt’ Narrative Is Hard to Believe … <\/strong>[LINK]<\/a>
\n[One of the] sixteen things you must believe if you trust that Donald Trump is truly the victim of a baseless witch hunt:\u00a0That Donald Trump\u2019s obsessive attacks on \u201cfake news\u201d are not an attempt to inoculate himself against future revelations but just good old-fashioned, right-wing hatred of liberals.<\/em>
\nFalse Dichotomy, and a rich one at that.\u00a0 The imaginary proposition — the one advanced by Charen — is that Trump’s media criticism is not what it appears, but an elaborate, long-running deception operation.\u00a0 The more likely one — that it comes from his heart — is smeared in a way that not only denigrates Trump, but all of us yokels out here in flyover country.\u00a0 We don’t have values or positions — just hatred.\u00a0 The elided middle ground is that Trump has — as do we have — grounds for a position that the media is up to no good, and a willingness to say so.\u00a0 Notice how that is not one of the two possibilities allowed by Charen.<\/p>\n

\nNot only we in flyover country, then?\u00a0 “Even” Newt Gingrich — whose opinion she would otherwise hold? — also holds no position, has no beliefs, values nothing, but instead lowers himself to “toadying”.\u00a0 That’s what it is to speak against the democrat-media narrative.\u00a0 The fact is that there is one Hell of a conspiracy afoot.\u00a0 Multiple spiked investigations and years of media camouflage have not obliterated the facts that Obama and Hillary conspired to let those in Benghazi die so that Obama would be re-elected, and to peddle influence not only with the US Government, but in the election process itself, to foreign powers in exchange for heaps of poorly laundered campaign cash.\u00a0 E-mails were the key to unlocking this, which is why there is a law about government officials and employees hiding emails from oversight, and why those e-mails are the crux of the fight.\u00a0 It’s not about yoga.\u00a0 It’s about Benghazi and a government for sale to foreigners since Al Gore’s Chinese Money Laundry.

\nIf this is sheer incompetence and petulance and nothing worse, the president could save himself and the country a lot more heartburn by releasing his tax returns. No one will care if he’s not as rich as he claimed. The burning question is whether he has a Russia connection.<\/em>
\nEven at her magnanimous best, as she generously allows that his actions may be nothing worse than petulance and incompetence, she still does the Democrats’ bidding.\u00a0 Release your tax returns, Mr. Trump.\u00a0 It will get you out of your Comey trouble, Mr. Trump.\u00a0 Here’s a football for you to kick, Mr. Trump.\u00a0 And let’s get into this Russia thing, Mr. Trump!
\nExcept that so far, the Russia thing is falling apart.\u00a0 No tax returns needed.\u00a0 Remember that this is Donald Trump who got Obama to kick out a birth certificate.\u00a0 It may even be genuine!\u00a0 I am nothing if not charitable.\u00a0 Trump knows what he is doing.
