We leave next Monday for three weeks out and about. \u00a0First stop is Ft. Stevens State Park near Astoria, then on to Gray’s harbor area on the central Washington coast, then lastly to the foothills of Mt Rainier for some biking and sightseeing. \u00a0I’ll take pix along the way; charging the batteries on my good camera right now. \u00a0So, until we’re in a place where I have decent WiFi, I’ll part for now with these last few pix from the yard. \u00a0One is regular visitors to the pond and the other is our Watermelon Crepe Myrtle tree in full summer bloom. \u00a0It blooms late here because what it really likes is zone 7, and we’re at about 5 1\/2.<\/p>\n
