A light post today because I’ve enjoyed a small victory in my neck of the woods. I have managed to eliminate the horrible Cinco de Mayo music blasted by construction workers directly behind my home in Naples.

I have an outstanding and eclectic collection of music from the 60s-90s and and a nice outdoor speaker system on my lanai. I utilized both today and blasted the following all day long:

    Earth, Wind & Fire
    Beatles
    Stones
    Marvin Gaye
    Three Dog Night
    All 80s Top 40 hits.

After E,W &F, there was a silence. I won and I wish R member and musical aficionado Quinn would sign up here. :)

Yep. He was one of my favorite posters on R in terms of the arts. He really has an interest in and impressive knowledge of great music and I looked forward to his posts.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We have similar tastes in music.

MLR, what are you trying to tell us here? :)) (Assume you’re referring to cheerleaders.)

    You are correct, Liz! ;-)

Also, I’ve had that song in my head because I watched Cat’s Eye over the weekend (that’s the movie’s theme song).
