Really was taken aback by Angela Merkel’s latest dictate to ban the burqa; a little after the fact n’est-ce pas? Perhaps, she shouldn’t have welcomed the Sharia followers who force women to wear that heinous costume into her country in the first place.

I grow happier by the day with the President we have finally elected.

P.S. I love the fact that UTX and Boeing stock went up today!! I bought some UTX but despite my confidence in the D, I make it a habit to avoid airline stocks.

It is not a religion; it is a lifestyle choice designed specifically to enhance the personal desires of the “Prophet” and yes, I admit I am heavily influenced by the writings of Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She lived through the hell and has been brave enough to share her experiences with the world.

My favorite military recruitment strategy of Islam is “Kill the Infidels and you will go to Heaven with 72 virgins at your disposal.”

    Nice.

I have heard that the promise may be a mistranslation; it may be for 72 white raisins rather than virgins. Ha!

Agreed, and as such it deserves no First Amendment protections.

Why are you and I and Hirsi Ali the only ones who get this? And interestingly, you and I were born into lives of relative privilege and may I use the politically incorrect word “normalcy?”

As I positively squealed at the honor of meeting and talking to AHA at her book signing event at the New York Y, I presented her with 3 of her books (hardbacks, not paper) to sign. Even she was a bit taken aback at WASP girl shoving her way up to the head of the line to get autographs and selfies.

Guilty as charged because I admire her so.

Angela Merkel should burn in hell.

Yep, “normalcy” is a great way to describe it. Love that word, coined by the great Warren G. Harding!

Well, Harding didn’t so much coin it as popularize it during the 1920 presidential campaign. Here is what he said:

“America’s present need is not heroics, but healing; not nostrums, but normalcy; not revolution, but restoration; not agitation, but adjustment; not surgery, but serenity; not the dramatic, but the dispassionate; not experiment, but equipoise; not submergence in internationality, but sustainment in triumphant nationality.”

?Ever read the koran on that part. Seems when the mullahs are asked, it’s the same 72 day in and day out. Somehow they “regenerate” as virgins.

All of islam is a mess. It is the delusional ranting of a caravan raider, child molester, bandit, and rapist. It is purely amazing that anyone follows it.

Wow! Encouraging to read that somebody else gets it; that the practice of Islam is not, in fact, an act of religious expression of any kind.

Harding may have said it but Coolidge made it happen.
