A Question for the Tribe

I watched a good bit of the Pensacola Rally that POTUS led.  I remember the debates during the campaign on how the rallies would have to stop if he got elected, how politics was not done that way anymore and so forth.

I am curious to hear from my compatriot BDBers on their opinion of the significance or lack thereof of the rally, why it was done and what effect it had.

My reaction:

The messages he wanted to send was one of relaxed fun. He is clearly having fun doing the job, he is in a good mood and showing anyone who watched that joining his side is more fun that the resistance. He has good news, things are moving the right way and the other side is in perpetual rage.

It was part rally, part Christmas Special.  Most important line “They will never ignore your vote again”.

I believe his opposition has no clue how to counter it, since none of them look like they are having any fun at all.

We’re in the “Up” side of America, no doubt about it. You hit the nail on the head. I mentioned in a post a while ago, some of my liberal female friends are simply exhausted being angry for over a year. Optimism is what America was created for.

I’m glad your leftie friends are getting tired of being angry losers. Meanwhile, I’m not tired of winning. Positive, optimistic messages will always win over cynicism and hate. Scott Adams has coined the term POH (party of hate) for the Democrats.

This is very similar to his tweets.
Trump gets to speak directly to his base, and to all American voters, without Leftist media filters spinning their asses off in between his mouth and our ears.
This drives Leftist mass media nuts, which is a nice bonus.
If someone complains about Trump staying in campaign mode, simply remind them that it was the Clintons and James Carville who launched “the never-ending campaign” in 1993.

I love the rallies. As MJ said, he gets his message out to the people this way. No filter. The angry crowd hates it because it shows we aren’t all angry. Much to their dismay, there is good news to be heard. Onward and upward, I say! You must go to one if you get the chance. I went to one before the election. Nice to be among so many fellow travelers.

We watched the whole thing last night, and had so much fun! Just relaxing and sharing Trump’s take on the funny inside scoop on government’s foibles is fun. That word is more important than the leftist crybabies know. So now the divide in our country is further defined as the scolds versus the happy warriors. Trump isn’t campaigning but celebrating, and we’re standing with him.

Watched a video on Bill Whittle’s site just now that seems to illuminate the point of fun. For extra credit, find and watch the SNL spoof ad, too.
