My job has ups and downs, and this is one of the ups. After nursing this client through a lawsuit, a loan recall, a housing recession of cataclysmic proportions and a Chapter 11 restructure, here we are six years later , moving forward with the latest technology for computer controlled stone cutting. Marble, Quartz or granite, this Robosaw will slice it, dice it and write your name in it.
We got a great financing package and a really good old style small town bank that survived the Federal attempt to kill small banks.
I stood there today after reviewing the latest cash and profit numbers with the owner who started as a stonecutter using a handsaw. The installation team he appointed were ready to show off.
Sarge was the point man, having been sent to school in Detroit to learn the art of Robosaw command and control. (Gunnery Sergeant, Iraq and Afghanistan). Next to him were Duke who was learning but due to go fight fires with his Guard unit for a week and Tex, who grows weed for profit in his off time.
They put on a show for me, running the new Steel Collar worker through his paces. Robosaw was made in America, just like Sarge, Duke and Tex.
Of course, Tex and Duke wanted to go outside to see my new truck, a normal form of deplorable quid pro quo.
This is happening all over the country, off the radar of the economic wizards, the media and most of our so called leadership.
All it took was having a leader who was not threatening to kill your way of life every day, with every breath he took, with every move he made.
Great story and nice truck.
*!
Long live The Deplorables!
TKC, maybe you just made this story up to provide a venue to show off your truck?
Actually, I get the messsage. The last trip, as we drove over the Cascades, we noticed so much building activity in small towns along highway 22, from renovations to new builds. And long vacant buildings are again inhabited. Where is the statistical indicator that the WSJ could report that might possibly reflect this trend?
Story is true, names were changed to protect the guilty.
No economist tracks private investment that I am aware of. Our elutes mindset is one were a few large corporations are all that matter.
We have two private sectors, one which lobbies Washington and one which does not.
Yup.
Great story and great truck.
Love this story. Bravo to the stonecutter!
Great story. Still love my Vette.
Then post a pic so I can regret my path not taken…it sounds fantastic

Sorry. Don’t know any other way to post a pic in the comments.
I priced one out. A bargain for the performance.
If I hit powerball, it will be my third purchase.
