It seems the left goes after anyone who doesn’t toe the line. The Mother Jones writer didn’t even have the good sense to eat humble pie. Rubin is a lefty who allows Conservatives to speak and bemoans the non-liberal berefties.
The video is about 7 minutes.
Rubin came up with Thinkquisition.

That does seem to sum up the media campaign of the left – don’t let another narrative get out there, don’t let people think for themselves, don’t apologize, don’t acknowledge one iota of good from the right. Some lefties are still even criticizing Rep. Scalise, and the just-deceased Otto Warmbier – there is no humanity among the Farthest Left.
Interestingly, the talk station I listen to from Philly had a woman call in this morning – she said, “Look, I never listen to your show, I’m so far left I don’t know even where the right is. A friend of mine asked me to call in, because I am so disgusted with the Democratic Party that I feel I have to start a new party. The DNC has no grace in defeat, no humanity – I’m just so disgusted, I don’t like Trump but I can’t stand what the Democrats are doing.” So the Left is losing these people – though I must admit she sounded at least over 40 – the media campaign is most certainly aimed at young people who do not have experience to teach them.
Pencil, I can’t stand double standards. Be honest about your biases. Let people respond. Censorship means you lost the debate.
Let’s hear from the same people defending free speech if Obama is Julius Ceasar in the park. I bet they would pull the race card faster than Mario Andretti.
Check out this short video by Steven Pinker.

I read Pinker’s book, The Blank Slate, a number of years ago. That book goes so directly against leftist orthodoxy that I’m surprised he has not faced more trouble at the university.
It was gratifying to hear him mention Christina Hoff Sommers approvingly. She’s a perfect example of someone who is hated by the Left because she has deviated from the orthodoxy. Camille Paglia is another one of those. It must really burn feminist butts that these are women. What’s the feminist equivalent of Uncle Tom?
The left-feminist equivalent of “Uncle Tom” is no doubt obscene, so maybe we should be glad not to know it.
Thank you for the recommendation of Pinker’s book. It has been sitting around here unread, so the encouragement comes in good time.
I think how Palin was straight faced told to us that she was not a woman. You are not wrong you are kicked out of your sex for having the wrong beliefs.
Pinker introduces the term Left Pole which is like the South Pole. Anything away from the South Pole is North so anything from the Left Pole is Right.
2:23. That was enough. The poor little progressive got hammered from the left? It had to happen to him personally before he noticed how so very unfair it was?
Cry me a river, Nancy. You helped dig the cesspit. Shut up an wallow in the result.
Percy, he has been defending others even people on the right before this. That is why he got the hit.
I always read comments before watching videos, especially here. I value the community, and the content of a YouTUbe video may or may not be worth watching. So I saw the name Rubin in here and thought of Jennifer Rubin. Amazed, I watched the video. Took me a while to get aligned with the identity :-)
Good Stuff.
Also, for a fascinating read, try The Management of Savagery. It occurs to me that what Rubin describes fits the ISIS model quite well. ISIS is not insane, and neither is the Progressive left. They just have different goals, and believe that the ends justify the means.

I think some of the Rubin Reports, basically interviews with people of various political stripes, are worth watching. He goes against the regressive left and calls them out. The Larry Elder one was good for it change Dave Rubin’s mind. He has had Dennis Prager also.
From what I’ve seen of Rubin’s interviews, I don’t think it’s fair to call him a lefty any more. He has moved toward the right because he has experienced the craziness of the Progs and because he has had honest conversations with some folks on the right.
He strikes me as a centrist with classical liberal leanings. I can envision him moving further to the right as his views continue to evolve.
