This post reaffirms the intellectual value of this forum and the high honor of its members and I am not just saying that because I am on the payroll – I would say it for free!
A fortnight ago or better our resident Curmudgeon (Reserve Status) posted a comment in a highly intellectual thread about shaving or at least I think it was about shaving. Anyway he recommended I give this fine Italian shave soap a try.

Previously I’d been using The Art of Shaving’s cream at ~2x the price. Today was the inaugural Proraso shave with my Dovo German straight razor (NATO is not obsolete!) and I am well pleased. My handsome face is smooth and glowing as always and I have my distinguished colleague from the deep blue northeast to thank for this value play.

Well Done and Thank You TKC1101.
We now return to our regularly scheduled cheerleading of the 45th President and his new found love for pre-emptive military strikes that tend to resemble his real estate developments: If you are gonna go, do not go small!

You do look good there, son.

Nice “I Love Me Wall.”
It comes in handy on days where things aren’t going well I lean back in the chair, gaze around the room and think “Hmmmm, I used to be pretty cool.”
Yo. Tomcats on the wall are perfectly great items.
How do you suppose the soap works on legs?
I don’t know, but years ago when I started buying Art of Shaving’s stuff it was a young lady that sold it to me and she said it worked great.
Now that is a GREAT advertisement for a product. Oh and stuff you wrote is nice too.
Brent, how are we going to get new members if you don’t display your fine Pencil or Right Angles designed BDB mug?

What the hell’s wrong with the Post Office. Should have sent it USP I guess.
Besides, I’m not sure he should be drinking a lot of coffee if he insists on shaving with a straight edge.
Vald, where you went wrong is it is

I also told you no yellow crayons.
Glad you enjoy it. It makes a chore a cherished ritual.

My middle son uses that. He recommended to me a few days ago. I was running low on shaving soap. The last batch had been a gift from Quilter.
