There Is Something Happening Here… What It Is Aint Exactly Clear

Just had to share this ad. It just drips with defiance for Correct Speech. May we see much much more of it.

The Marine Corps, home of Political Correctness, has had those kinds of little sayings for a long time. Indeed, if anyone could actually read my avatar, you’d see it says,

“Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord. But He subcontracts.”

There IS something great about belt-fed weapons. ?Ever listened to a Maxim machinegun shooting. It just shoots, and shoots, and shoots … long as you got the ammo – and water for the jacket – it will keep on shooting.

How does a civilian with a clean background check get one of these? Not that I’d know what to do with one but I like the idea of standing on my front lawn holding it with a ghetto blaster beside with this playing … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjSpO2B6G4s.

Spend a day as almost the only two people on an outdoor range in Evansville. Down about two divisions is this guy who has set up a Maxim that he got from his father. It is fully providented; you know the Germans – they keep great records. It was in WWI, banged about for the inter years, then ended in Guard Tower 36 at Auschwitz.

For grins, since we were obviously reasonably knowledgeable, he unloaded a 100 round belt (and because he wanted to show off a little). Shoots about 280 rounds per minute, slow, steady, methodical. And you DEFINITELY want it mounted on its stand. BIG piece.

It beats the crap out of a Starbucks advertisement.

It makes me feel like the America I grew up in is still there, under the crap and veneer.

Something tangentially related to the graphic above:

Doesn’t it depend where the belt fed machine gun is pointed?

Rah! Make mine Gunpowder Green tea, though.

As O’Sullivan’s Law turns more and more companies (like Starbucks) into active participants in the culture wars, there will be more opportunities for companies like Black Rifle Coffee to fill niches.

Until recently, the attitude among most real Americans has been: “Yes, I know company X is run by lefties, but I like their product and don’t want to be inconvenienced or pay more for a substitute.”

Now, it’s more like: “No. If given the chance these bastards would kill me, my family, and my pets. They get no more of my money.”

    • DevereauxDevereaux says:

Well, the other side of the coin is that the Lefties are vehement about boycotting and generally destroying conservative businesses. Just look at the Bakers out west and the wedding cake bit, or Chik-fil-A. Those boycotts (or law suits) were aimed at doing serious harm to the businesses.

Lefties believe in Clausewitz – total war. It’s high time the conservative, or Right, fought back with similar tactics. Make the other side squirm.

2nd Vote is a good start. Check out any business to see if they have been scored. They are slowly expanding their list, and updating scores from time to time.
