I have mentioned elsewhere that I cried every night for at least a week after the 2012 presidential election. It really broke my heart. I campaigned for Romney quite a bit in the final weeks, even taking time off from work and using vacation time to do so. Plus I gave a substantial sum of money to the campaign.
After the loss and after my tears subsided, I found solace in a few places, one of which was this video from Bill Whittle. It made the rounds at that time, so you might have seen it. I think it is really good, remarkable in fact. Whittle not only made a cogent case for the conservative cause, he made a prediction about the 2016 presidential election. He predicted that the winner of the 2016 would be a Republican “from the pop culture, from the general culture.”
There’s more I can say on that, but I’ll stop here. The video is only 15 minutes long. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out. I think you’ll like it a lot.
